    Using vehicles in combat

    Movement

    • Vehicles have a minimum and maximum speed depending on their gear.
      • You must move at least your minimum speed by the end of your turn (based on the gear you end your turn in)

    Actions

    • Handbrake turn: Use your action and 5 feet 1 tile of movement to skid the car 180
    • Ram: Gain advantage on athletics check to prevent vehicle damage.

    Bonus actions

    • Shift gear: For geared vehicles you can use your bonus action to shift up or down a gear.

    Collision

    Damage is based on the distance the vehicle has traveled that turn.

    • 0 to 15 feet 3 tiles : none
    • 15 feet 3 tiles to 30 feet 6 tiles : 1d6 1-6
    • 30 feet 6 tiles to 60 feet 12 tiles : 1d10 1-10
    • 60 feet 12 tiles to 90 feet 18 tiles : 1d20 1-20

    Collisions with vehicle

    Contested dexterity check: The winner takes half damage, the loser takes full damage.

    Collisions with creature

    Athletics check: Success results in no damage.

    The create is pushed back 10 feet 2 tiles regardless of the check.
